Team Contract

Goals:

Set out to achieve a good grade.

Learn to work effectively in a group.

Get materials done on time.

Have a better understanding of how a task force works.

Ask for help and in turn help out members who may need it.

Have fun!
All members will:
-
Arrive to meetings on time.
-
Participate during discussions both via the GroupMe app and in meetings.
-
Communicate on a weekly basis in terms of the project.
-
Look over and contribute to documents.
-
Be prepared and organized.
-
Ask for help where it is needed.
-
Give the appropriate amount of notice to all group members if an individual knows they will miss a meeting.
All members will not:
-
Let distractions override the task at hand.
-
Be a distraction themselves.
-
Procrastinate in their work.
-
Disrespect another group member.
Penalties:
-
All group members will not miss more than two weekly meetings.
-
Any member of the group can bring up a penalty during the meeting.
-
The duration of the project will run on a three strike policy.
-
Strikes must be voted upon by the entire group.
-
In order to be effective, the majority must vote in favor of the strike.

The strikes are as follows:
1st strike - The individual will get a verbal warning.
2nd strike - The individual will write an apology to the group. The team leader will also contact Dr. Young and let her know that a member may potentially be fired if their contribution does not increase.
3rd strike - The individual is fired from the group.
Firing policy:
The firing policy that each member will respect and uphold to are the same steps as Dr. Young has outlined in the task force document. Each group member is required to have a copy of this document available for access during meeting times in the event that a conflict arises and needs to be discussed.
